For some years now, the owners of the world award winning Tamborine mountain distillery, Michael and Alla Ward, have had concerns regarding the quality of the water supplied by a water bore on their property.

Although the water was generally of a very high standard the, pH was fairly low.

A low pH means that the water tends to be slightly acidic, which over a period of time can cause internal problems effecting the plumbing, i.e. Copper piping etc within the house. The result being that the internal copper piping is gradually eaten away.

This problem is easily recognised by the appearance of a blue green stain particularly in toilet bowls and ceramic sinks.

Pristine water systems installed a filtration system which not only filtered the bore water but corrected the ph level, in addition to this a fluid reactor was fitted which softened the water making it easier to lather, therefore using less detergent on washdays etc.

Michael said that the cost effectiveness of the equipment and the almost negligible ongoing costs were very appealing.

Thank you for the excellent work in cleaning my two water tanks. One of the joys of my life is my own water supply.
The name of your company is very apt – as pristine is the nature of my water now. Although over the years I had thought it would be prudent to have the tanks cleaned, I had been apprehensive both about losing any of the water supply and having my water in any way contaminated by chemicals, either by the cleaning process or having to purchase extra water. When my husband organised for you to clean the tanks I still had the same apprehensions.
You will remember me following you around and asking lots of questions about the process. Well, I am happy to say that I thought your process was excellent. It is unique and far superior to other methods of water treatment that I had investigated.

You were both very efficient and more than happy to answer any questions. I saw the residual sludge which was removed from the bottom of tanks and watched the aerating of the water. Just a note to thank you for the help you have given over the last twelve months with the various water issues we have had.
We spent a considerable sum in having our bore put down and were extremely disappointed with the results of our bore water analysis. We had no idea there were levels of iron, lead and arsenic far exceeding Australian standards for drinking water. To find that there was a solution to this problem was an immense relief.
Thanks to the installation of the water softener and the reverse osmosis unit we now have water that is both safe and useable for our requirements. Dear Rob and Trevor,

I have to write to you both to thank you for the very professional and well performed cleaning of my underhouse water tank. To say the least it was in a difficult position to enable you to clean it out and as I said at the time most of the tank cleaners that I had spoken to had shied clear of the undertaking, not only because it had not been cleaned for at least 6 years but the working space was so low that it must have been very painful work as you only had a ceiling of about 4 feet to work within.

Notwithstanding all this you cleaned it perfectly and expelled a heap of mush and left it as pure as anyone could have wished for without the loss of much water, which was getting difficult to procure at the time. From the moment you came at my request for a quote until the final cleaning was complete your whole attitude was very professional and delivered as stated and on time throughout. Should I be able to reassure any of your clients please do not hesitate to let me show them how good a job you guys did. And once again thanks for your efforts on our behalf you are a great team to work with.

Without reservation we recommend the team at Pristine Water Systems to deal with cleaning water and the supply of water filtering systems. We had a high content of tannin in our water which was swiftly removed by them. I now have less housework to do!!! Before the treatment I was continually cleaning the hand basins, bath and toilets because of the residue left behind and having a bath in the water was not pleasant. Now, it’s a delight.

We also purchased the double water filter and have been very happy with that as well. It was such a pleasure dealing with them.

We contacted Mark to come and see if our rainwater tank needed cleaning.
Mark explained to us the whole process and what he would do before commencing.
After taking a sample of water Mark advised to have the tank cleaned.

First he tested the water that was in the tank and then again when he had finished cleaning the tank. Mark also explained all the different readings from the tests.

The tank is about 8 years old it is galvanised and aqua plated inside, after the tank had been cleaned you could see the sides and bottom again.

"A job well done Mark" and thank you very much for your professional service.
We will be having our tanks cleaned now every two years by Mark after seeing what came out of the tank and what we were drinking.
